IBETON Services

The structural concrete Laboratory IBETON of Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) is available and ready to collaborate with design offices, industrial parners and public entities as part of private or public mandates.

Domains of activity

Research and development of constructive systems
Static and dynamic load tests in laboratory or on-site
Participation to design competitions and the corresponding duties
Expertise in the case of damages or litigation
Long-term measurement of structures

Conditions of participation

IBETON will participate only to activities that correspond to at least one of the following fundamental conditions:

1. IBETON participates in service activities which, by their nature or by the questions they raiser, require special competences or equipment
2. IBETON participates in service activities that present an important interest with regard to the scientific research of the laboratory or a strong pedagogical component for the education of assistants and researchers.

If none of these conditions apply, the service activity will in principle not be accepted.
